[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pressure cooker! I'm always in a hurry and hardly have time for cooking. This cooker is so helpful when prepping potatoes for instance. I put them in, and it might take about 10 minutes to cook and make them tender enough to mash. But what I really use it most for, is to tenderize my meat. If I'm having Carnitas, I'll put them in this cooker and in about 20 minutes, I take the meat out, and proceed to cook it in the method of my choosing. I definitely recommend this product for people who love cooking, but just don't have time.

It works great. I experienced a problem where the same beans after a while came out to be hard after using the same settings for the same amount cooked. After I contacted the customer supports who are great I received a few recommendations. I research possible issues as to why the beans were hard after cooking it for long. I changed the pressure settings to high from the manual option and cooked beans for 1 hour. The came out perfect soft, tender and wholesome. I apologize to the company for leaving a bad review first. I think this item cooks great beans.

I bought this to be able to use my stock pot as a water-bath canner. It was a perfect size, both in the 20 quart pot and the 32-quart pot for the second jar layer. Pros: Good deal, glad to find this!

I have avoided buying and using a pressure cooker all my life (66 yrs old) because of the horror stories of them exploding food all over the kitchen. This is not your grandmother's pressure cooker....glad I finally gave it a try. First recipe I made was corned beef and cabbage with veggies and within an hour and 3/4 we enjoyed the best corned beef I have ever eaten. Wish I hadn't waited so long to try one! I have only used it a few times. The first time I used it was to do a mock canning runwith only water in the unit to make sure I understood all the steps. Then I have canned a few things in it after that. I am almost at 4000 feet so I need to can with 12 pounds of pressure. I was able to easily bring the pressure canner to pressure. I held the canner at 13 pounds for the whole time just keep an eye on the gauge for the first 20 mins and last 15 mins that is when the gauge seems to move for me. I like the unit and will be using it a lot. I am very happy with this purchase. I even received it three days sooner than the time I was initially told on this website.

I love it. while I'm vegetarian my dog isn't. I use it to cook the chicken I feed her. It works great. the last one was 40 years old and it blew up on me so this is just the ticket. a couple of months later I am still happy with it although it has gotten a bit dull however, I do use it to cook dog food a few times a month so I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise it got a bit worn

We have a little hiccup at the beginning, they send to me the wrong size , but customer service make it right from the go. replacement arrived and is amazing. good quality , very presentable and very happy customer, thank you Wayfait for this product .

I haven't used this canner yet, but I bought it for this seasons caning needs. We grow a huge garden and my former canner scared me. It is so old, so I replaced it. This new one is big and just the right size for my canning needs.I'll keep the old one and use it as a water bath canner.

Received this pressure canner yesterday. I should have researched the dimensions prior to ordering. I do not have a burner surface large enough for the canner. I contacted customer service and within minutes they emailed me a return label. As soon as this item was scanned by FedEx I received an email confirming my refund amount. In 3-5 business days. Always satisfied with Wayfair. I have ordered from them for 5+ years.

This absolutely cut the time that it would take the get the job done. With my older Pressure Cooker, it would take at least 1/2 hour to cook Oxtails where the meat would fall off the bones but I have to say, this makes it so much easier. This was a good buy.

I love this pressure cooker pot so much. I had my first one since 2006 and my baby mess up one of the part on the lid when I laid it on the table after cleaning it, and from that day it never worked 100 % so I got me this new one as a Christmas gift. They served forever if handled with care. So after after 14 years am just replacing it. These new ones are a bit thinner steel though. I gave it a 5 because it still works even with a small part messing after all these year! Can I tell how how strong and durable this pressure pot is?

We were thinking of getting an instant pot. After researching quite a few and reading reviews, we decided on this one. So far, we have used it 3-4 times and made buckwheat, quinoa and beans in it. 10 minutes is all that was required. Every time came out perfectly. Very quiet and easy unit to operate.

I have been using pressure cookers for quite some time now and nothing has come close to this. The quality, design and simplicity, all come to life in the beautiful and delicious meals you prepare. The stainless-steel design and the bonded base design provide quick and even heat distribution, allowing your meats, grains and vegetables to cook evenly and faster. Along with the pressure cooker you will also receive a steamer basket, to make cooking and removing your vegetables and grains easier. One of my favorite features of the Allclad pressure cooker is the easy to apply and remove lids. All the pressure cookers I have used usually have a twist on and off lids and you must line it up correctly or otherwise it is a pain to put on. The Allclad design is by far the simplest and the easiest I have come across. Simply lift the handle and you will see the locks pop out from the side. Place the lid on any way to want and lock the handle down and you will see the locks grab on to the pot, that it. After that pick your food group, set the timer and your done. When its time to take food out, simply slide the selector to steam release and wait till all the steam is out and your food is done. After your meal is done, comes the hard part of cleaning the pot and pans, well this pressure cooker is dishwasher safe. Personally, I did not place the top into the dishwasher, because I was afraid of something might happen to the mechanism, but I did put the pot into the washer, and I was done. Overall, I am very happy with the Allclad 8.4-quart pressure cooker. The quality and craftmanship will last for years. I would highly recommend that you at least try it out for yourself.
