Best Potholders & Oven Mitts With Reviews

Great Grips! No More Burns for me :) I thought they would be real small like winter mittens but there not. They fit me perfect, covers 3 " up my wrist not those big thick cotton ones that you can't "GRIP"! They also fit my husband and he loves them too. We ordered 3 pairs but hiding 2 pairs from my older son, lol. The inside of the mits is smooth but you can feel the thin layers of insulation. I tried them in the oven but forgot to take a photo of my meatballs on a cake/cookie sheet from edge to edge so I Grabbed it from the two diagonal corners and held it for 5-10 minutes and it just felt a little warm after 5 minutes but not hot. My husband checked the pan with his bare hands and said "the pan is hot"! I told him I am testing the product and don't pick on me, the oven light was on and the oven said 350 F so you should have known or asked first. He is fine but his ego wasn't, lol. I want "RED" but I don't mind the purple, black or green. I will keep two and give the green to my mom, her favorite color, "Mother's Day is coming". I would recommend these to anyone and my mom is 75yrs young :) she will love them...Thank you for making the perfect cotton insulated oven mitts.

I like a traditional quilted potholder, and these do not disappoint. They are well made, quality pieces. The color is cheerful and hard to lose if you set them down somewhere in the kitchen. A thing I do between uses… They have the right amount of stiffness and bend to pick things up easily and of course are thick enough to prevent burns. I am very happy with these hot-hots and I’m sure I’ll be using them for years to come.

Fit well and do handle heat pretty well. If you hold a hot oven rack for a minute or so, which i did to test the gloves, you start feeling the heat. So if the intent is to pull something out the oven or move a rack, the goves meet that purpose. Xavier, Aventura Fl 2/4/2023

Used them for the first time baking some quick breads. Very different from regular potholders, but once you are used to them they work well, easy to grab glass baking dish (I had 4 lined up next to each other). NEWS FLASH . . . first time I didn't burn my hand, wrist or arm. They were protected with these mitts!

For me, these are too small to use ad pot holders, however thay are excellent trivets. If they were 2 inches larger I could use them as potholders, but as is I cant wrap them around a pan in the oven without burning myself. I am giving 4 stars because I use them for trivets, daily. Handy, easy to store and easy to clean.

As grilling demands a very hot surface, using this sleeve made cooking on the stove top with the grill much safer and easier. The key is to slide the sleeve in the handle prior to heating the grill and then only remove it once it cooled down. As it is designed to stay in place it takes some pushing and pulling to put it on and remove it

After trying several different oven mitts which did not work for one reason or another, too stiff, too long, too big, I found these quality gloves at a great price! They are the perfect length, and flexible. They are roomy, but because they are soft and flexible, that is not a problem. I have no fear that I will drop anything, love the silicone. They are lined, so easy off and on. After removing a cookie sheet from the oven, I left my hand resting on the sheet, I felt no heat at all through this mitt. I'm thrilled with this purchase!

Editing my post. I did finally reach someone from the customer service who promptly told me I could have used the website. She was very nice about it and I explained that I already had and no one had contacted me. She took the time to fix the issue and my items finally arrived. They work great too.

I chose the honey orange color since I have a similar accent color in my kitchen and they matched perfectly with the mitts! Overall these mitts were beautiful and stylish and did a pretty good job handling hot pots and pans. I like that the rubber grips consist of small dot patterns and that the orange color is so bright and bold. My only issue with the mitts is that they are a bit too thin for my liking. I can’t hold hot items straight out of the oven for too long before I start feeling the burn. It just may be me since I have heat sensitive hands though.

I haven’t had new mitts in a long time. These are very comfortable. Thick, I didn’t feel like I would get burn. But, not bulky and simply adorable. The nails of the paws hang over just a bit giving them a little more authentic appearance which made me like them even more

Most the time they are cheaply made and fall apart. So far I am really liking this set. The oven mitt fits nicely, great quality material. Thick and I do not feel even warmth come through. For these gloves I was skeptical because of the mixed reviews. I'm running across this a lot now and it is hard to tell if the reviews would match my own expectations so in cases like this one I had to just go it on my own and have my own experience. I was really pleased at the quality of the gloves and I can see now that the silicone design is so you can actually turn meat with the clean gloves if you need to, that is why they are washable. I used them to pick up Pyrex dish that was in a 350degree oven and I did feel a bit of warmth. I recalled the one bad review saying it did not protect her hands, but I only felt warm, not burning. Overall I like them and am pleased with the purchase.

Like many, i have cut myself several times over the years. Annoying, painful to say the least. I'd seen gloves similar to these on cooking shows and decided to give them a try. Sizewise - i have riding and driving gloves that are a medium so, that is what i purchased for myself. The gloves are not tight and as you can see from the pictures, they are a little baggy on the back of the hand. They are not bulky when cutting. Remembering to put them on when prepping ingredients takes a little getting used to. I did run a knife across the gloves while wearing - everything was good. I gave 4 instead of a 5 as there are no cleaning instructions.

I've had these before and loved them and needed more. This time I ordered in "almond" which is very pretty and is exactly what I thought...just a cream vanilla color. More importantly these are so durable and I love the "grippers" so you never worry about dropping anything. The fabric issue thick I can't even feel the heat from the pan coming right out of the oven, let alone worry about burning myself. Perfect! Highly recommend!

I was looking for good potholders and to be honest stumbled upon these. After reading and looking at them thought what the heck and bought them. They are sooooo nice. Love the shape, size and use them on my large Staub Cocottes and other small pans as well. You definately can't go wrong with this purchase. I will certainly be getting more. Thank you WAYFAIR for carrying such a great practical product we all need in the kitchen.

I really like these grips they allow you to get a good grip on the pan handle especially when carrying it to the sink to drain hot water from the veggies or noodles. Using moderate heat in cooking I haven’t experienced the handles getting real hot, but it’s nice to know that I can use these grips on the handles as well as the rectangular shaped on on the handles of the lids which do get hot while cooking. The rectangular one is also perfect for pulling the shelf out of the oven and removing hot bakeware from the oven. These grips were definitely a great purchase and I highly recommend these items!
