Omg this thing is going to save me soooo much money. I spend about 60month on dehydrated pineapple and the packaged stuff is full of sugar and preservatives. This works great and after a few minutes I don’t even hear the noise anymore. I wish it didn’t take so long but that’s the same with all dehydrators. Great unit for a great price. Homemade jerky is happening next week for sure! Thanks Wayfair for always having a great selection of quality products

There are two reasons I am not giving this product a 5-star rating, one of which is not the fault of Tribest or Sedona. We simply do not fully understand how this thing works yet. I think we have to go back to the website that originally convinced us to buy this product and watch the video again. The second reason, I did not give this product a 5-star rating was because we were hoping to make Korean natto soybean cakes in the food dehydrator. However, the shelves would not support the weight of the natto cakes because they are too thin and the shelf rails are made of plastic. We did think of a workaround that may work. We would have to get a thin aluminum sleeve from a machine shop that is the thickness of the distance between the bottom shelf and the tray bottom and another aluminum sleeve with a sufficient thickness to allow an offset between the first shelf and a second shelf. Those support sleeves would sit in the middle of the device to provide support for the shelves while the natto cakes (2 on each shelf) are drying. I think that may work, but we have to become much more proficient at using this machine first.

This dehydrator is exactly what the description reads. I was given a dehydrator but found it to be so loud. This one is quiet and does the job great! I've had it a week and have dried pineapple, mango's and currently in it are apples!

Used it today for the first time and loved it. I cut up and marinated a London broil and made spicy beef jerky. My husband loves it. He will be putting some in his boat for fishing trips instead of paying 6 a bag. I’m going to make doggy treats tomorrow.

This is by far the best dehydrator for the money! I was able to purchase extra trays also. These trays are heavy duty and wash up very easily. I am very happy with this purchase!

Bought this for making deer jerky. It works very well and the trays our big and you can fit a lot of what ever you are making on them. Would highly recommend

Love it. Sounds like a hairdryer running. Made me nervous about the cost of electricity. Google it. 1.20 for 10 hours of use. Not bad. Made 3 sets of jerky so far. I wash it in the dishwasher as it is large to soak in sink.

Just what I needed! You can tell by the photo I use my nesco a ton! Jerky, spices, you name it. I am so happy to have stumbled upon these, will definitely be getting more. Usually when hunting season rolls around and we’re turning and burning through batches of jerky and I usually borrow my aunts trays for extra space, now I won’t have to.

Okay so I bought the dehydrator and just had to have more screens. I did order some from the Nesco site but this was offered as my tried-and-true so I jumped on that. These work excellent for small items after they dehydrate that way they wont fall through.

We bought this to help preserve food for the winter, and it's just great! Easy to clean, works well! In the 2 weeks we've had it, we've dried out berries and grapes and apples and even made some amazing beef jerky!

Arrived well packed and quickly. Strong smell when first used and quite noisy but works well. Have mainly done fruit and now know that I also need some of the accessories from the instruction booklet to prevent dripping/falling through the slots on the trays which are quite large. The Fruit Roll Sheets and Clean-A-Screens acessories are not available on Wayfair so if you want them they have to be ordered direct from Nesco, but you may not need then anyway, depends what you're dehydrating. Overall I'm pleased and recommend this as a good dehydrator for a beginner like me....

I have read some good and bad reviews while searching for a dehydrator. I am happy that I chose the Nesco Gardenmaster. I read the book and had great success. If you trying to find a great dehydrator for your homestead this one will give you the best bang for your buck. It does it all. Plus it has two tray inserts for each of the eight tray's. I didn't find any other dehydrators for the accessories and price plus power that the gardenmaster had. I am already considering purchasing another one so I can expand the trays to 16 and have two lids and a extra motor as a backup. Also regular shipping was very fast even in this plandemic. This is my first dehydrator, and it works great! I make sweet potato strips for my dog, who has food allergies, and I tried to make beef jerky for a friend. The second batch came out better, but that was due to me, not the dehydrator. It takes some time to figure out what works for you, but I'm happy with this purchase. I kind of want to dehydrate everything now, just to see what would happen. Pros: Works great, looks nice, easy to use

Hello potential buyers. We purchased this food dehydrator after we did lots of researching, reading and comparing. The delivery and shipping was perfect 100 percent. Machine is well made. Very light and sturdy, not over noisy, yes you hear the fan running. When we got it we cleaned the inside and the trays with water and dish soap. (just a small amount dish soap, rinse well). Easy to clean. Next, we did learn how to dehydrate fruits and vegetables from the internet and made notes and followed the instructions combined with food safety guidelines like using disposable gloves to handle the fruit before and after drying. First batches turned out really great apples and plums. Tips (soak in lemon water) the plums cut into 4, skin down on trays. The apple’s thickness was 3 mm before drying. The type of apples Ambrosia. Finished product was very tasty. We didn’t peel the apples, we are going to try that next time. Plums were nice soft, we didn’t dry them completely. Stored them in fridge. Summarizing. Yes, highly recommend this product from our experience. Recommendation Buyer needs to know what he like to dehydrate and how much and where the dehydrator will be placed (smell, fan noise, easy access to check on fruit during drying). This is a very nice Dehydrator. Bought it for making Jerky. Just did my first batch and it is great! Put the meat in and forget about it until done! you don't have to turn the meat or rotate the shelves. I used the highest setting for approx. 6 hours. I was expecting this machine to be loud but it makes a soft fan noise when running not distracting at all.

These Fruit Roll Sheets are a little yellowed and must have been on the shelf for a while, waiting to be sold. But they are the correct size for my round dehydrator and I'm grateful to find them at a good price. These sheets work just fine for my thrift store dehydrator.

I can not say enough positive things about this! The Pet Treat Maker! I do recommend following the directions on cleaning the trays before and after usage. I made two of the recipes included in the booklet immediately! I made Sarges Cheese Rolls and Scruffs Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits. I have included pictures! The recipes are very simple and easy to follow. I happened to have all the ingredients on hand already. 10 minutes of prep and then follow guidelines on how long to leave in the dehydrator. My Bama Girl loves the peanut butter ones and she gobbled the cheese rolls down as well! I’m making jerky for the humans next! I am highly impressed and recommend this to every pet parent!! The prices you pay for these natural and healthy biscuits for your fur baby are so much cheaper when you make them yourself. A+++++
