I was so excited to open this beautifully packaged set of silverware. I am very impressed to see how well made it is. Absolutely Stunning! I have owned some nice silverware before, but this surpasses that by miles. The details are intricate and they sparkle like the shining stars they are! I am going to love using these with each and every meal. Its just feels good to have nice, pretty, useful things. These are so well made and they will last forever. If you are like me and cant afford 5,000 for one place setting of fine silver, (that you wouldnt be able to use every day anyway), these are for you, too. Order them today, open and enjoy eating with a reasonably priced luxury! I think I may need some nice, new dishes from Wayfair now!

I am super pleased with this purchase! Great quality, nice strong pieces that don’t bend when challenged…I no longer have to bend fork tines or spoon necks back into position! I spent a lot of time researching brands, comparing reviews and pricing, and finding a simple yet elegant design…the ultimate goal was to have a large number of pieces to handle family get togethers without having to pull out unmatching backup pieces, and to have good quality strong and durable everyday silverware. It definitely feels like this set should be put in a box in the hutch for special occasions! Besides my satisfaction with the great pricing that didn’t break the bank, I couldn’t be happier with my decision to buy this quality 12 place setting of silverware! We bought a 20 piece set locally of this after looking for new flatware for about two months. This set was the first we found that we really liked. It is heavier than other sets (which were looking for) and very nicely balanced. Plus, the simple but interesting design goes well with lots of dinnerware styles, including our very colorful pottery. The 20 piece set cost us [$] so we are very happy to be getting 40 pieces plus a serving set for just $20 more. [...]

I searched for about 2 weeks online for the right silverware. And I learned a lot along the way. I had know idea that there were various levels of quality of silverware based on the 180 and 1810 numbers. Even though this is the 180, the lesser quality between the two, we’ve had this for a week now and have had no issues with spotting or rusting. Good, solid weight in the hand, but not overly heavy. The size of the smaller spoon is pretty small, more for stirring coffee etc. Not necessarily big enough for eating much except maybe yogurt or something in a smaller container. The rest of the sizes of items are perfect. I ordered two sets (service for 8) and will be ordering one more as my family of 4 still tends to run out of spoons or forks before we run the dishwasher.

Looked for a few years for a new set of stainless and stumbled on to Wayfair. Finally found stainless that I couldn't live without and it was on sale! Excited about my shipment it came quick. We washed it and put it in the drawer. Every time we open the drawer to get a untensil it puts a smile on our faces because it is so beautiful and such nice quality. It was well worth the wait. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, I have to talk about this Oneida Hollis Everyday Flatware Set because it’s seriously impressive. First off, the quality feels way more expensive than it actually is. The pieces have a nice weight to them not too heavy, not too light just that perfect balance that makes them feel luxe without being too much. The design is simple but elegant, so it works for everyday meals and still looks nice enough for when you have guests over. Plus, 74 pieces?! You get enough for a big family, extras for when you don’t feel like doing dishes right away, and even serving utensils. I also love that they don’t get spotty or dull after washing. They stay shiny, which is a huge win

I've had this pattern for 33 years now and was looking to replace some pieces that "disappeared". The pattern is a little different now, but actually better. The pieces are larger, with a nice weight and the perfect size for large and small hands. The quality is beautiful and looks much more expensive than the cost. My pieces from 1982 have held up beautifully and I'm hoping these will, too. This style is elegant and casual and timeless. The Oneida quality is just wonderful.

I got this set for my wedding 14 years ago. The weight is perfect. Not too heavy, not too light. The design is simple and classic. 4 kids later and several trips through the disposal (you know the sound) and we were needing more silverware in our drawer. I found this on Wayfair and it looked to be the same set. It arrived all glossy and new. Pretty much exactly the same except this set has the “O” logo imprinted on the back of each piece. One fork did arrive with bent prongs which is surprising. After owning our other set for so long there has been ZERO prongs out of place. I’m hoping the quality is the same and that was just an error in production. Overall I’m thrilled with the purchase and would highly recommend. In the picture, the old utensils are on the right. To can hardly tell they’re old except that they aren’t as shiny.

Purchased my original Flight set in the early 80's. bought a few replacements in past years that cost a lot individually ($10 for a fork!). Wanted more serving pieces and saw this entire set for such a great price! Overall, an happy with this purchase. But note a few changes: knives are flatter, much thinner and the shape at the bottom end is a bit squared off. Yet somehow all the pieces feel same weight as originals. Not sure how this was achieved. Fork tines are also flatter and not thinner toward the tips. The finish looks same. Note these made in China (older replacements were made in Vietnam). With so many extra pieces I am happy to never run out of a fork before the dishwasher is full

So far so good. These were purchased to use in picnic baskets and at a rural lake area home with very hard well water and a water softener. The set has long handles, big bowls on the spoons, and long fork tines (the salad fork is as big as the dinner fork in other Oneida sets I've used, for comparison's sake). These utensils are not as heavy as an older Oneida Community stainless set in the Clarette pattern that have lasted us for many years, but we haven't bent anything on these Pfaltzgraff utensils so far and they're coming out of our dishwasher in good condition after a few uses to date.

They are beautiful and the perfect weight. I just wanted to add that even though it doesnt say so in the main description - these really are Pfaltzgraff. Ì was afraid they wouldnt be since they werent described as that on main description. 34 years ago we picked out the blue and white dishes and decided to wait on the utensils. Well here I am now with utensils and no dishes (they became too heavy for me). I wish I would have gotten the utensils 34 years ago and waited on dishes. I really love this flatware!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a new silverware set that had the simplicity in design as my current set but also offered some modern features that are a step beyond the traditional polished look.  Enter Cambridge’s satin black finished Beacon flatware set.  The weight per utensil is perfect – substantial but not heavy enough to be a nuisance in use.  I love the modern design with its narrow handles with a slight curve; and this is highly complimented by the satin finish.  The finish reflects differently at various viewing angles which really adds to its beauty. Polish/brush marks also add a nice grain to each piece. The appearance is stunning. I have run the set through my dishwasher on a variety of temperature settings - food does not stick and most importantly the finish is holding strong (this is the true test of quality with colored flatware) both in luster and durability.  I will continue building this set with more pieces because it truly does hit all marks.

This gorgeous set of Portola design Lenox stainless flatware is five stars all the way! I own quite a few pieces of Lenox porcelain and I am very aware of the Lenox name and its history of quality, so I knew when I spotted this set here on Wayfair I would be happy with my purchase. First, let me tell you that I purchased this gorgeous set of flatware during one of Wayfairs many sales. I paid one-third of the typical listing price. I researched it on other sites and they were still asking nearly 300 for the same set! Everything about these pieces is perfection. The weight of the knives is exactly what I was hoping for, the balance on the dinner Forks is perfect. There is nothing lightweight about the set. I read a few of the reviews and while it looks like a few people have had not-so-perfect experiences with this Lenox set I have found it to be perfect. The additional pieces such as the butter knife, serving spoons and large serving Fork that are included for free are such a huge gift! I generally have my set of flatware and typically have serving pieces that dont necessarily match. You have it all in this one set! I have not found it to rust one bit, I find that the fingerprints left during and after use are minimal. These are not problems whatsoever. I have included photos of a typical dinner party setting, its absolutely stunning! The subtle detail on the bottom is just exquisite! We use these regularly for weekday family meals as well as very large dinner parties that use every single piece. The table is always stunning! I got many compliments on the Lenox flatware of all things! From start to finish this entire purchase has been perfect...Nearly the second I ordered it I received my order confirmation email with lightning speed. They kept me informed through text messaging regarding delivery date and even updated it when it seemed it would arrive 2 days earlier than expected ... AND of course being Wayfair the shipping was absolutely free.. I did not have to pay a single penny for shipping!! I cant ask for a better buying experience . I received a product that was exactly represented in the Wayfair listing it is part of the Lenox production family! I have found that Wayfair can be counted on to deliver the highest quality for the absolute best price anywhere on the internet! Wayfairs prices are the absolute best and trust me... I pride myself on getting the best deal available.. thank you Wayfair for making this a five-star purchase experience...AGAIN!

Always had a soft spot for these plastic handled flatware sets....when I was a kid (were talking just under a hundred years ago) I had a good buddy "Dave" and I would often have lunch at his house and they had these plastic handled flatware....they looked like toys to me--or at least treasure maybe....MY mother flatly denounced ever stooping so low as to consider buying plastic ANYTHING nevermind something you would put near your mouth--hmph!.......with these I got the color "Mimosa" and I gotta say, they are W O N D E R F U L and are (for me) great "FUN" to eat with and look especially good next to an egg salad sandwich and a bowl of tomato soup!

I first bought these in 1998 on an impulse because of their uniqueness. They are solid and durable. I never imagined that they would be my every day go-to for decades to come. I was so excited to see the pattern still being made. I purchased another service of four to add to my existing 8. They are a little different, but close enough. The new handle has fewer “twists” and the shapes have been changed a bit. Here they are side by side, old and new. I love them just as much. I will be ordering another service of four, and probably another hostess set. I would love to see the spreaders and the cocktail forks offered as well. I HIGHLY recommend them. Very durable and very fun. They are an “artsy” set at a fairly “ordinary” price. I expect to use them for many decades to come!

I am super pleased with this flatware set. I was nervous about buying online without being able to get a real sense of the quality and weight of the pieces, but they exceeded my expectations on both counts. I used to have a cheap set of flatware that felt flimsy and would bend easily, and when I got a better set after that, I realized what a difference it made. All I was looking for was something that matched that quality, and this set, while not as expensive as my last, is even better than that one was. As far as appearance, the items look just as they do online. I love the simple overall look, while the pebbling on the handles gives it just the right amount of detail to keep it from being boring. I would definitely recommend this purchase!

Awesome set. The knives and forks are absolutely perfect. The spoons are little shorter and thinner in the stem then they should be in my opinion, particularly when compared to the forks. Their fine though, and I'm not bothered by it enough to take off a star. The only other thing you should be aware of is that these butter knives are sharp! I like it, because they may great steak knives, but you can easily cut yourself if you're not careful
