Perfect for Chefs and Disney Fans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fell in love with this Disney Mickey Mouse slow cooker and dipper. I needed a new slow cooker since my old one was quite small and didn't have variable settings (low, medium, high). I'm so glad I found this one! The Disney motif gives it a fun, but still classy feel and looks great in my kitchen. I've had numerous compliments from kids to adults about how cute this slow cooker is. I just recently had a get together with a few close family and friends where everyone was gushing about this slow cooker. It also works perfectly. Being that it is 5 quart, I was able to make an Indian rice dish for about 10 people without any issues. Since it's a slow cooker, the dish took time, but came out perfect. Being able to adjust the temperature was a huge boon as this allows me to make more dishes and experiment a little more with my slow cooker, which I hadn't been able to in the past. The dipper is just a little extra bonus as you can warm chocolate, cheese or dips, perfect for game day, parties or even just a little evening snack. I also love that it's made of stoneware so I know the quality and durability is there. I still can't get over the cute design especially with the handles being Mickey's head. I have absolutely no complaints and would recommend this slow cooker to anyone who wants to add a little fun into their cooking regimen without compromising sophistication or quality.

Impressive Machine Does Everything Very Well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ninja Foodi Deluxe FD402 is impressive cooking machine and it just does everything well. First, it has 8 quart capacity so I can make a lot of food at one time. At 1760 watts it has plenty of power. This machine can be used for pressure cooking, as a steamer, a slow cooker, an air fryer, a dehydrator, as well as for baking, broiling, sautéing and has a feature called “Tendercrisp” for air crisping and browning. It can also be used to reheat food or keep food warm for long periods of time. I very much appreciate having one machine and not having to buy and store an array of machines. Still, this is not simply a pressure cooker with an air fryer and some extra features for show. All 9 of the cooking features work extremely well. The Ninja Foodi Deluxe comes with great attachments; an 8qt non stick ceramic pot, a 5qt non stick basket, a pressure lid, a “Tendercrisp” lid, reversible wire racks and extras like silicone mitts and a small recipe book and easy to use cooking charts. So if you are new to pressure cookers and air frying (like me) there are recipes and instructions included and you can find even more recipes online. The machine itself, the attachments and lids are very good quality, easy to use and the machine with a stainless steel exterior with a push button panel looks modern and attractive. The non-stick surfaces are actually non-stick and are very easy to clean. Maybe most importantly, the Ninja Foodi Deluxe has made my cooking faster, easier, more enjoyable and foolproof. I have never liked cooking nor have I been a good cook. I generally tend to over cook meat and certainly have never made anything elaborate or been able to brown like a pro. This machine does the cooking without any guess work; the food comes out perfectly cooked, looks beautiful, tastes great and gives me a wider variety of options. Plus cooking can all be done in one machine. Using the Ninja Foodi Deluxe I am now more willing to cook since the food comes out so nicely and it cooks faster so I don’t have to spend a lot of time cooking. Even though I haven’t enjoyed cooking I do cook and try to eat healthy. I had mostly avoided frying for all the fat and am now able to air fry and have healthy options frequently. My friends and family that enjoy cooking are really impressed with this machine. This would make a great gift for an experienced cook or even a not so good cook like myself. I would definitely recommend this as a terrific buy for the quality, features, attachments and accessories and think this is the one to buy if you are looking.

Finally! A TRUE slow cooker!
Hooray! A slow cooker that cooks at the right SLOW cooker temperature and doesn't burn and dry out food all to heck! Finally, my reciples turn out wonderfully again! Before I found KitchenAid's model, I had a hard time finding a decent slow cooker. I am a lifetime slow cooker cook, and when my vintage model finally went to slow cooker heaven, I purchased a new model (not KitchenAid). Imagine my surprise when, for the first time in 30 years, I came home to a time-tested reciple to find it boiling away to mush! I thought I must have a defective unit, so I exchanged it. The second model did the same thing. That's when I did some research and learned that many manufacterers have now turned up the temperature on slow cookers. The advice I was given was, "just reduce the cooking time to 5-6 hours." Huh? Would you like to tell my boss that I can no longer work an 8 hour work day - sure! Isn't that why slow cookers are so popular - cooking while you are at work? And listen, I grew up in the 60s and 70s and everybody had a (lower temperature) slow cooker - I never knew anyone who had problems. The low temperature (but high enough for safety) for a longer period of time is the point of a slow cooker. Fortunately I learned about the KitchenAid. The temperatures on all settings are perfect. It features not just low and high, but also medium, allowing options for a wide range of reciples, and the keep warm function is a life saver for traffic jam days. The programmable feature is great too, especially for someone used to the vintage models with the knobs (kind of miss those knobs, but I'll get over it). Thank you KitchenAid, for making a REAL slow cooker. I highly recommend this model.

Almost the perfect Slow Cooker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years, I have been using a 6 quart slow cooker, which worked great, but always thought it was a bit too small for my family of 5 or at the Holidays (and I like to make sure I have leftovers to freeze or use for a few days). So, I finally decided to try an 8 quart and I love this size! I can now easily double a recipe and it all fits. Some other features I really like; 1. Very easy to clean because the outside chrome colored base wipes clean and the inside black container pulls out simply and has come clean in the dishwasher every time I have used it with no problems. 2. The red light of the digital clock is easy to read even a room away. 3. The clock counts down while cooking and counts up while on warm (I really appreciate this feature because I know how long ago it switched to 'warm,' especially due to one of the 'minor inconveniences' I list below). 3. There is a warm, low and high setting and switches to warm after the low/high timer has counted down. 4. Simple to set the timer/setting and use with the 30 minute increments on both low and high settings. The time blinks while setting and then stays solid red once you have it the way you want. 5. Cooks well and has not burned or undercooked any recipe I have made so far. I have made soups, desserts, and casseroles. 6. Buttons push easily without having to push hard. As I stated in my title, it is almost the perfect slow cooker, but there are 2 things I wished were different and I consider more of minor inconveniences rather than negatives; 1. I think the cord is too short, it would be better if a little longer. I can only use it at one of my kitchen outlets, because of this (other outlets would require a longer cord). I can and will use it, but multiple outlet choices would be nicer. 2. I am spoiled with my last slow cooker as it would beep three times when it finished the cooking countdown and then switched to the warm setting. This one does not 'beep' at all and I have to keep a closer eye on the timer when I know it is getting close to being down. Luckily, the warm setting does count up, so at least I know how long ago it switched. I must admit, I really l do miss the 'beep,' feature of my other one. Again, not a deal breaker, as I really like this slow cooker overall.

Love this cooker!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this 4 days ago and love it! It is very attractive with the stainless outside. It is lightweight and easy to handle, yet very stable on the counter. This is a 6 quart cooker, but does not seem to take up too much counter space. The lid fit very well. The gasket on the lid looks like it will need to be cared for gently, but time will tell. I have cooked ham and beans, pot roast and overnight oatmeal with great results. No hot spots or burning. Because this has three cooking modes, manual, flexcook, and program, I recommend reading the manual before starting, but it was quick reading and easy to understand. I do not have a lot of recipes requiring flexcook, but I like having that feature when I need it. When the cooker finishes its programmed cooking, a chime sounds. I was very happy that it was not an annoying chime, but I think it could have been two chimes instead of one (easy to miss it) and maybe slightly louder so that it could be heard in another room. The handles have metal arms that lock the lid down for transporting. I love that feature for taking to potlucks. I would like to see them be able to fold down further to allow better access to the insert, but it's not a major issue. One design feature that I think definitely needs improving is the insulation. The outside of the cooker gets very hot. Little hands reaching up could get burned. All in all though, I am very happy with this slow cooker. It will definitely be staying in an easy to reach spot on my shelf!

Capable Multi Cooker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a multi cooker, and after much research settled on the 'Hamilton Beach 4.5 QT Multi Cooker with Glass Lid'. I made my choice for a couple of reasons. Firstly, as the title reveals, this multi cooker has a 'glass lid'. Most of the ones I came across in my research did not. This feature is important to me in that I like to see how my meal is coming along without having to open up the cooker. It just looses too much heat that way. Secondly, I wanted a cooker that had a number of functions... without being an overwhelming amount. A few I looked at had settings for 'porridge' and such. I mean, when was the last time anyone made a batch of porridge?!? This Hamilton Beach model seemed to fit the bill. I received my Hamilton Beach 4.5 Quart Multi Cooker with Glass Lid and was immediately impressed. Firstly, I loved the fact that the lid was attached and on a spring hinge. I didn't have to worry about it getting broken or misplaced...or my cats getting into my 'cooking creation'. Secondly,I liked the removable non-stick pot. A number of the cookers I researched came with stainless steel pots. I know they are nice, but they can be a bear to clean. And third, I found the attached swing-away handle to be a nice feature. It will come in very handy in taking a batch of my meatballs over for Thanksgiving dinner. I was extremely anxious to try out my new Hamilton Beach 4.5 Qt Multi Cooker with Glass Lid. I was in the mood for chili and settled on making some in it. Rather than dirty a fry pan to brown my meat, I decided to use the 'Saute' feature on the multi cooker to do just that. I found the controls to be a little confusing having to refer to the directions a couple of times to figure it out. But after I did, things were fine. My meat browned nicely as you can see by the attached photo. I easily drained the meat using the handles built into the removable pot. Very nice feature. It was now time to load all the ingredients in the pot and get my chili cooking. I found that I could really load it up. The size of the pot is deceiving when you first look at it. But it easily held a full batch of chili. I set the 'Slow Cooker-Low' function for 8 hours and let it go. After cooking was complete, it was time to give it the 'taste test'. I must admit, it was the best batch of chili I had made in a long time. The flavor of the seasonings was nicely infused in the meat and it was nice and hot....just like I like it. I was very happy with how my Hamilton Beach 4.5 Qt Multi Cooker performed. And cleanup was a breeze. (I was worried about cleaning the glass lid being it wasn't detachable, but not a problem. It cleanup up easily. All in all, I can highly recommend the Hamilton Beach 4.5 Qt Multi cooker. As my title suggests, it's a very capable unit that has many useful functions and works well. The control set is a little hard to figure out, but one you do, you'll be on your way to making some great meals. Five stars!

Sleek!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Elite Platinum 8.5 qt Stainless Steel Digital Slow cooker is huge, and looks super sleek setting on the counter! I cooked a very large chuck roast with all the fixins in it this weekend, and there was still plenty of room left! It heated quickly, and was simmering away even on low in no time. The digital settings are easy to read and operate, but I found a couple of small flaws. It turns itself completely off at the end of the timer setting, and I really wish there was an option for it to turn to warm when the timer went off. What if you are late coming home because of an emergency, and now your food has been turned off for hours and is ruined. Unlikely I know, but still possible. Also there isn't a way to not set a timer. You can adjust the time of course, but no way to turn it off completely. It goes up really high though, so you can plan ahead and adjust is for way longer than you think you might be. Not a major flaw, just something I thought about. Other than that this thing is awesome though! I really like how the lid fits so well. My other slow cooker the lid was wonky, and half the time I would notice it wasn't completely flush. My roast turned out super tender, and it was easy to clean up! I use a slow cooker at least once a week, and I see this one being part of my kitchen for a very long time to come!

Easy to use cooker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the, De'Longhi Livenza 5-in-1 Stainless Steel Multi Cooker. It is not too heavy. The cooker does not take up too much room. It is the perfect size for my family. It helps making dinner a lot easier. Especially if you are having a busy day. You can set the proper temperature for cooking your meals. You can also steam vegetables or use this for cooking a side dish, if you do not want to cook the main course in it. It is very easy to operate. You can view what is cooking inside through the glass lid. All of the instructions are included. You can register your product, the instructions are included for registering the cooker. The instructions are clearly written. There are a couple recipes included in the instructions if you want to try something new. The best part is my husband even loves this. He says, it is a lot easier for him to use. He loves quick meals. He was impressed by the quality of the cooker. It is one of the better cookers we have ever used. The food cooked evenly. The times for cooking were spot on. We did not have to add any additional time for cooking. Everything tasted great. I would highly recommend this brand and this particular cooker. It is exceptional. It is something you need if you have kids or a house full of people. Even if you are cooking for one person this would be perfect. You won't be disappointed. I did receive this at no cost to myself. However, that had no bearing on my review. I was impressed by the functionality of this cooker and the results. I would recommend this cooker to everyone.

All the Bells and Whistles
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really impressed with the Black and Decker 7 Quart Digital Slow Cooker. It was everything I was expecting and more. I made sure to read the manual before I started using it since it has more features than a regular slow cooker and I'm glad I did. Let's start with the slow cooker itself. The stoneware pot is durable, safe to use and easy to clean. The fact that it's 7 quarts lets me cook larger meals especially when I have guests over. Just last week I was able to make a delicious rice meal that fed 6 guests and had left overs. The digital function makes it more precise and has some preset options that helps with cooking. You can customize temperature and time, which makes cooking more accurate and fun. It came with a recipe book too, so I was able to try some of the newer dessert dishes, which with the help of the slow cooker came out tasting amazing. The function I was less familiar with is the sous vide. I've only tried it a little in the past and with mixed results. I decided to try again using the included starter kit and a new recipe I'd found. The results were so much better; the cauliflower alfredo pasta actually turned out better than making it by hand. Being that this is a slow cooker, it allowed for some of the same slow methodical cooking you expect from a slow cooker, but in sous vide form. There is also a temperature probe included so you can measure the exact temperature you need your food to be. All of these features give this slow cooker an edge you won't find with many other kitchen appliances. The small things like side grips to keep the lid on tight and multi-holes for the temperature probe so that it can check temperatures in various parts of the slow cooker is what makes this go above and beyond other slow cookers I've used. Overall, I'm so pleased with the quality, ease of use and precision cooking this slow cooker allows me to do. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality slow cooker that has multi-functionality and convenience.

The Pressure is on!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 8-quart pressure cooker is probably the best pressure cooker you will ever use. I have been using pressure cookers for quite some time now and nothing has come close to this. The quality, design and simplicity, all come to life in the beautiful and delicious meals you prepare. The stainless-steel design and the bonded base design provide quick and even heat distribution, allowing your meats, grains and vegetables to cook evenly and faster. Along with the pressure cooker you will also receive a steamer basket, to make cooking and removing your vegetables and grains easier. One of my favorite features of the Allclad pressure cooker is the easy to apply and remove lids. All the pressure cookers I have used usually have a twist on and off lids and you must line it up correctly or otherwise it is a pain to put on. The Allclad design is by far the simplest and the easiest I have come across. Simply lift the handle and you will see the locks pop out from the side. Place the lid on any way to want and lock the handle down and you will see the locks grab on to the pot, that it. After that pick your food group, set the timer and your done. When its time to take food out, simply slide the selector to steam release and wait till all the steam is out and your food is done. After your meal is done, comes the hard part of cleaning the pot and pans, well this pressure cooker is dishwasher safe. Personally, I did not place the top into the dishwasher, because I was afraid of something might happen to the mechanism, but I did put the pot into the washer, and I was done. Overall, I am very happy with the Allclad 8.4-quart pressure cooker. The quality and craftmanship will last for years. I would highly recommend that you at least try it out for yourself.
