Super sleek and modern! Love the black for a slightly different look. The grasp is much thinner than we’re used to and the forkspoons are really long, so I hope it doesn’t cause bending easily. I’m also feeling hopeful the black color will remain after washes as it says black coated and dishwasher safe but I’m skeptical it will stay after other black silverware sets we’ve had. This is a nice set of flatware. The champagne color is really nice and subtle. I’ve included a photo that compares gold flatware I already had to this set, and you can see the difference in color. The flatware seems sturdy and while it says they are dishwasher safe, the instructions say I can’t mix it with other flatware and that’s just not practical. That’s the only downside. These are beautiful spoons forks and knives. I love that they match my bowls and plates. They look great after and look even better after the first wash. The silverware has a smooth feel and have a nice texture to eat off of. I love the black finish, I was concerned since I have used silver finish my whole life and Im happy I made the change. These are really nice silverware! It has some weight to it. In fact, I don’t think we have ever had this nice of silverware! They do show finger prints and water spots if it’s not dried properly. It takes a bit to get those spots off when it happens. We don’t have a dishwasher (unless you count the humans that live here) to comment on how they hold up in a dishwasher.
