I am loving this pan! It looks beautiful and has held up well with hand washing. I am not sure that you would have as good a result with cleaning in a dishwasher. I have always washed all of my pots and pans by hand. The cooking surface is huge. It works great for paella ( probably the original intent). But for a breakfast, I can also cook three scrambled eggs and six pieces of bacon at the same time! We do have a gas range with the option of an expandable “power” burner. I have many pans, of all makes, shapes and sizes. Some will last for several generations. But as we all know, nonstick pans are not that durable, so I've learned my lesson about spending a small fortune on high end nonstick cookware. Having said that, these two Tramontina skillets are excellent. They are truly nonstick, and yet they do something other nonstick pans can't do: brown salmon fillets ( and chops ). I couldn't believe the lovely bronze finish of my fish, something heretofore was only possible in either my cast iron skillet or my French blue steel pans. Absolutely amazing !
