The canopy bed is beautiful and was easy to assemble. The instructions included are accurate and easy to follow. I only knocked a star off because the top and bottom "F" pieces did not screw in on the left side of the bed because the screw holes didn't align properly. I even tried turning them around, flipping them upside down and swapping the places of the 2 bars, to no avail. But I just left the bars slotted into the brackets and I think it will be ok..they are just not secured with screws on that side of the bed. I love my bed it is beautiful, and I love the credit you get from your purchase towards the next thing you buy. I received around $50 and at the time I ordered my bed I thought well I will just get a mattress near me, so I went shopping at Mattress Firm, and other stores I soon found out I was wrong way to expensive.! So I went back on Wayfair's site , and found the perfect mattress that was great in pricing, and with my credit bonus from Wayfair I purchased the one I wanted, and I saved my self at least $500 for purchasing from Wayfair. This is a surprisingly nice bed for the very modest price. Thanks to a one-piece headboard it does not feel too flimsy, which is often a problem with flat-pack metal beds. The headboard shelf is very handy and eliminates the need for a nightstand if you are pressed for space. I have mine covered with drapes for winter warmth, but the headboard and footboard design are very pretty and proportional so I think it would also look beautiful with more of the frame exposed. Would work for an adult or a child, depending on how you dressed it. Took about an hour to put together and realistically, you only need a second person for maybe five minutes.
