My company offers ergonomic online consults and noticed my old-fashioned leather top wood desk was too high for my height. Few things to note 1. Don’t try to swap the drawer sides or you have a massive gap on the side from the desktop 2. The instructions show you the sides swapped with the flat side of the shelf unit facing out - this is a dirty trick. Don’t try it or you off center desk. 3. Swap step 8 and 7. You’ll thank me later. 4. 2-4 hours is a lie IF you follow the directions. I had to rework 3 times which put me at 5-6 hours of putting together. 5. I waited 5 months for this desk to come back into stock. Although it’s the look I wanted, the rework and cussing was not to my satisfaction. I think I’m going to really like this desk as it is aesthetically pleasing, but also functional as a standing desk. It did take me about five hours to put together by myself. This desk is perfect for what we needed. My daughter wanted more space for dance and this has really opened up so much room. Because it is so long she hasn’t really lost any desk space either.
