I’m overall pleased with this umbrella stand. I love how this is on wheels! That makes it so nice to move around once it’s all filled up. Because it gets very heavy. Another nice thing is the brakes. You just push down on two of the wheels and it locks into place. My only issue I had with this stand is that the umbrella pole holder sits kinda wobbly. I wish it locked in place. Once I put my umbrella into the pole it kinda sits cockeyed. I think I’ll add something to the gaps to keep it standing straight up. For the price I think this is a great buy!. Sarah. I love the simplicity and low profile of this patio umbrella base stand! It says it’s 40 lbs. but it feels much heavier than that! It was extremely easy to assemble, five minutes! I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. I like the fact that it come with several hole adjustments for various size poles. I had to use the 1.5 inch hole tube. Update, have a new table with the umbrella hole. Absolutely no issues with stability. It’s been a very windy spring, up to 20 mph winds and this umbrella has not moved at all! I absolutely love the low and sleek profile of the base.. Lisa. The base itself looks fine; however, there was a problem with the hardware: the screws slipped through the holes in the roller base, so I was not able to use the umbrella base.
