DONT BUY THIS. I will explain why- Hi everyone, Im really sad to have had to make this update because I originally LOVED my mattress, but it appears that after just 2 months of having it, we got a new bed frame and went to assemble it. Upon lifting the mattress the entire underneath has MOLDED beyond saving. Its contaminated through the entire bottom section of the mattress. This is more than unfortunate because obviously the age of the mattress should not reflect my review. For preface this mattress was not around water, wasnt left inside the box longer than allowed for, was delivered under a shaded porch, we have never experienced any house leaks and our floor remains untouched. THIS WAS SOLELY SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE MATTRESS. Im going to upload pictures for an update but needless to say I am DISGUSTED and that is genuinely what I have to say have for this experience. Do better Wayfair. IGNORE PAST REVIEW This mattress is AMAZING! I was super skeptical at first when buying a mattress without testing it first, but this bed is the best mattress I’ve ever owned. Comparable to my parents mattress that they spent thousands on for a fraction of the price. This mattress is definitely a firm mattress, but not a hard mattress. It cradles you with the memory foam support, but doesn’t break move or bend, and there’s absolutely none of that dipping you get when two people lay on it at the same time. It gives just enough squish, but not a lack of support. It fluffed up fully within a day and started to expand evenly the second I opened it. I bought two of these for a pop-up trundle bed for guest use since it claimed to join into a king size bed. That is a different story. These mattress came vacuum-sealed and expanded to almost full size by the time I got the plastic off. The topper is nice material and can be zipped off for easy cleaning. I gave the mattresses about two days to fully expand and was surprised at how firm they are. Most "firm" mattresses are not very firm; however, I weigh just under 200lbs and I sunk in about a half-inch. It is a soft kind of firm, not a hard, cheap couch kind of firm. My wife laid on the top one and she was equally, pleasantly surprised. That says a lot, coming from her, as she has a bad hip and is very particular when it comes to mattresses. It was delivered 2 days early. Queen size. It was heavy but I was able to drag it out of the box--someone else moved it into the home. Instructions said to have mattress with zipper side down, I didn't see any zipper. However, the back does have a silver surface so be sure to have that side on flat surface. I did not wait 72hrs but by the evening it was inflated enough for sleep. The edges are softer than center. When exiting you can feel more of the memory foam softness. The center is a medium firm, leaning toward firm IMO. I wish it were the opposite and the edges had more firmness. Overall good bed. Frame is from wayfair as well.. Quinette. Philadelphia. Our old guest room mattress had started sinking in the middle, so we finally replaced it before family came to stay for a few days. The box showed up at the front door, and my husband definitely needed help moving it upstairs because this thing is heavier than it looks. Once we opened it, the mattress expanded pretty quickly and looked full by the next morning. The pillow top feels softer on top, but there is still enough support underneath so you do not sink too far down. I slept on it one night myself before guests arrived and noticed it stayed cooler than our older foam mattress. My husband moves around a lot while sleeping, and I could still feel less movement transfer than expected. The edges also feel more stable when sitting down to put on shoes or fold laundry. One thing I noticed is that it does sit fairly tall once fully expanded, so deeper sheets fit better. So far it has made the guest room feel much more comfortable without feeling overly soft.. Just having to have emergency hamstring reattachment surgery to where I was laid up in bed for almost 6 weeks I was so afraid that I wouldn't be comfortable and not be able to get any rest to heal. That couldn't have been further from the truth. This mattress is firm and holds my body. I don't "sink in" like foam mattresses. It has just enough give in the padding on the very top so that you know you're not laying on " a board". I can only be comfortable being on firm mattresses and this is extremely helpful to my back and to my recovery for my hamstring. I wouldn't give this mattress up if God himself asked me for it.
