Great piece of furniture! I was impressed that this item is actual solid and pure wood, sometimes you never know what you will get. It would be easy to paint or stain if desired. The number of pieces to put together was intimidating at first, but it went together a bit faster than the 1 hour stated time frame. I love the pure look and the fact that it is low to the ground. Hoping for an easy transition for my toddler!! Warning!!! One of the hardware bolts could pose a choking hazard if it were to come lose. There are 8 such pieces in total. They seem to be well locked in place, but I will definitely keep an eye out to see if anything shakes lose over time. Was going to give only three stars but my daughter actually loves it so I gave it four stars. I ordered the pink bed. Wayfair sent me the gray one after all the other pink beds were sold out without informing me. The bed would have been extremely simple to assemble if I had only needed the Allen wrench that came in the box however I also needed a screwdriver. Save yourself some time and have a power drill ready.
