I wasnt sure about these when I first opened the packages. The smell was so strong that I had to put them in the wash immediately (watch out for crazy amounts of fuzz from the chenille!). The pattern is also printed on, not embroidered, and I thought it might look tacky. They came out of the wash pretty wrinkled even though I took them out right away, and the instructions say not to iron. And after all that - I really love them! The orange curtains are bright and cheerful. They are a little more orange and less of a rust color. The orange toned down a bit after the curtains were hung up and there is a wall behind them. The curtain panels are well-made and room darkening. I need to take a steamer to them to get a few wrinkles out, but that is to be expected after fabric has been folded up to fit into a package. This is an interesting type of fabric. The only drawback is that if you use rings with clothespin type attachment, be sure of your placement first. I did my rings 5" apart.
