In fact, I bought this same down alternative blanket in light blue for the master bedroom and two dark blue blankets for the bedroom that has two queen beds. I got the pink one. I thought the color was true to what was shown online. I was hoping for it to be a little bigger, but it is a King size. It is a stiff waffle, not super soft, I assume with washing and usage it will become softer. It is not warm. I got it as my summer comforter and it’s almost not enough, with my AC set as is. When it first came it had a bit of a plastic scent to it and felt damp? It is very warm and humid/rain when it arrived, so not sure if that was shipping. I washed it and it is good as new.. Mary. My Maltese sleeps with me and even though he visits a groomer monthly I have found that his nails have picked the material in a couple of spots. The color was a tiny bit brighter than I had hoped- but I kept it anyway cause the weight of it is so nice- and the actual threads are very soft and luxurious (buttery with weight- it’s quite delicious). My husband grew up sleeping on Mexican fur blankets #iykyk so getting him used to a proper fitted and top sheet was not easy. Hubby approves of this blanket he says its even softer than expected. REVIEW UPDATE: We enjoyed the blanket at first but every night id find it on the floor. It was so slickery and soft it wouldn't stay put.
