I probably could use two sets of curtains on the window but I don’t think the rod would hold the additional weight. My curtains are fine and do cover the window fine but I would prefer to add an additional set for aesthetics only. I still love the design and would buy them again if they only came in this size. I did purchase a rod larger than I needed so that it is not hanging on just a weaker single rod. It has the support of the rod inside the rod that I’m not using. Needed an attractive storage solution for a tiny bedroom with no decent closet space. I placed this high above a dresser. Did not trust the drywall anchors. Amount of clothes to be hung is heavy. So I drilled a two by four into the wall studs.Then attached the rod with longer sturdier screws. Ones supplied were awful and stripped before they became flush to the surface.
