These are great! Beautifully made, thick and tops secure well. They are stackable in your kitchen cabinet. They are small though. Even the largest fits a little over a pound of meat, per se. We have 4 kids (all 11 and under) and 5 prey driven dogs. I needed a super safe place to keep our guinea pigs and this critter cabinet is absolutely perfect for that! We can easily see them doing all their guinea pig stuff. Assembly took me about 3 hours by myself. Directions were easy to follow and I didn’t end up missing anything so the frustration level was nice and low. The lights are our favorite touch. We can see them any time we want but they have a nice dark hideout just in case they need it. I don’t think the access to the hideout is a big deal. If you absolutely need to grab one you can pull out the tray some. Our piggies loved their new home and I also love the peace of mind it gives me knowing they aren’t in a wire cage anymore where my dogs could accidentally get too rough and break them out lol I definitely would recommend this cage. This enclosure is AMAZING. Very high quality and easy to read instructions. You will probably need a drill to get all the screws in. Built this in about an hour and it’s so solid but not too heavy. I was worried this wouldn’t be as big as I needed for my Blue Tongue Skink but it definitely is. She has so much space. 1010 recommend. Highest quality enclosure I have ever owned. This small animal home was far better than expected. It is gorgeous and very functional by allowing ample storage under. The tray comes up to keep moisture from going over the sides, although small animals could kick paper bedding over the side. It is a really easy to clean dwelling. We have tried lots of different systems for guinea pigs in the past, this has been by far the best. We have two guinea pigs (they are on the smaller side) in this home, and they love it.
