My new favorite thing to do outside..swing on my new swing! Well made, and not hard for my husband to put together. It did need some sanding, and we will put a finish on it to make sure that it stays nice. The swing sets arrived secure and undamaged externally but upon taking the pieces from the boxes we found many to be scratched down to the metal and some of the posts appeared as though they should have had a second coat of paint. This is a great swing. It was fairly easy to put together, although it's helpful to have 2 people for some of it. There is a small dent in the top bar, but not bad enough to send back. I really like this swing but one thing wrong with it is the arm bars on the side that are supposed to connect with the poles that from the top - well those side bars, they drilled the holes through the top rather than on the sides so there is no way to screw the two together. I had to use thick zip ties to connect them. This is not the first swing this has happened to me either, so I was dissapointed to see it that way again. If you try and drill the hole the right way, the side arm bars would crack because of the hole that's already there. Set is very solid (I am 200 lbs and had no problems climbing in and on it to build) and the directions were great. The bags of screws are not identified very well. However, the instruction booklet uses actual size for screws and bolts so I was able to lay the screws and bolts right on the booklet to ensure I was using the correct ones. the boards were all pre-drilled, making it very nice for ensuring you have the correct boards and avoid splitting. I found one error for board orientation in the booklet, but it was quite noticeable and easily corrected. Project took me a full saturday and sunday with only myself (I had a helper to move the main tower into position). I took my time to ensure all was done well. The child LOVES it!!. Benton. We received this about a month ago and our kids love it! A piece was missing when we opened and sorted all of the parts, but thanks to the fantastic warranty we had the replacement within a few days! I absolutely LOVE this swingset! I would highly recommend it. Quality is incredible and it looks beautiful. This comes in 3 large boxes of parts and a slide. It’s a great idea to lay out all of the wood parts organized by letter and I would also encourage you to lay out all of the hardware by number otherwise you end up looking for parts for quite a while. There are tons of pieces but it goes together really well. I used the Bilt app which is also amazing for when the steps aren’t very clear on the paper directions (you can also use the app to look at a 3D model of any step from any angle which is very helpful). I would also recommend having 2 drills or at least an extra drill battery. I worked on this project for about 16 hours total with help from my dad and husband when extra hands were needed.. Lia.
