The table also includes a leaf to extend the table so it is a square - instead of rectangular. Loved the white glove delivery service. They set it up as a square and then took the leaf out. It has a 1.25" thick high-pressure laminate top that's durable and easy to clean. The top has a long-lasting edge that won't crack or peel. The solid cast iron legs have leveling glides to prevent the table from wobbling on uneven floors. The center column base is 3" in diameter and is made of 16 gauge steel. Easy to assemble. Tops are hand-made and stained in the USA.
