Pleasantly surprised with the quality and overall aesthetic for the price, especially compared to other cloud bed frames I’ve looked at. 5 stars for the bed but unfortunately, the experience took much longer than it should have. Our first delivery arrived incomplete, with only two pieces of wood—more than half of the bed was missing. We had to return it, and a full replacement shipment was sent, which delayed everything, including our assembly (which, of course, we still had to pay for). The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side. This bed is very well made and super sturdy. All the parts and screws fit together perfectly. It came securely wrapped and packed. It took my husband and I 6 hours to put together. Instructions could be a little more clear. It’s all pictures and some of them are tiny and not so easy to decipher. Something to think about when considering whether to pay the $86 for someone to come assemble it for you. The drawers slide gently and align perfectly. They are lined inside with the sturdy pressed wood material and reinforced on the bottom to hold weight. They aren’t wire cages as I have seen in other drawer beds. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. That being said, if you look carefully at the diagrams, you should be fine. Bed assembly is pretty straightforward. It does have a slight varnish smell that has started to fade after 3 days.. A..
