This cabinet is constructed of solid oak, hardwood, and oak veneers, with a clear chemical-resistant UV finish. The right-hinged doors have a lock that locks both right and left-hinged doors with a three-point locking system. The unit has two fixed shelves and four adjustable shelves. Shelves are 1"thick, and the weight capacity for each shelf is 40 lbs. per sq. ft.

While the design is classic for these cabinets, the multiple that were ordered for an education wing were all slightly off in alignment. The doors needed to be fixed and some of the backings need to be secured back on. Wayfair replaced 2 damaged in transit without any hassle. The cabinet is very sturdy and exactly what I needed. Assembly was straightforward, and the instructions were easy to follow. The illustrations were especially helpful and made the process quick and efficient. My only complaint is the stickers provided to cover the screw holes on the sides of the cabinet. By the second day, several of them were already curling and peeling off. A small felt or plastic insert designed to fit into the holes might have been a more durable and attractive solution.
