Did have to modify the wall anchoring given the brick wall anchors that are provided. The front panel has more space between the shelving on one side (everything reads level, and the bottom of the front panel has even spacing). I did notice other review photos have the same problem. Comes in 4 boxes, received 2 on one day the other 2 the next day. Really nice set, pretty happy with it. Couple of extras that we are doing to it, the brackets to hold the frame to the wall can be seen when bed is down just going to paint them white to make it less noticeable. The barrel of the hinge for the shelf can be seen when the bed is in the up postion. Definitely need to support the bed frame to the wall and into the studds a must. I was so skeptical about purchasing this bed because of the price point. It was a really good price. And I was worried that it was going to be cheaply made or pieces broken when we got it, or it wouldn’t fit together the way it’s supposed to. It took my Handyman about eight hours to put it together. Overall the kit is nice, It took me about 14 hrs so far to put together the bed section and the cabinet with the drawers. The last cabinet will be quick and i still have to anchor everything to the walls. The total project probably takes 20hrs for a individual who is somewhat skilled at these things. My issues are mostly around the instruction booklet. They are not laid out in a useful and logical manner. You have to flip between pages to find out where things are packaged and then build up your pile of parts before starting a section, also they suggest you start with the bedshell but it is most logical to start with the cabinets. It also has some steps that make more sense to be performed in different orders to minimize movement of the objects and make your life easier. They also don't always specify the orientation of parts which is VERY important for later steps. If the instructions were better i probably would have saved 3-4 hrs of labor.
