What a great lamp my DEER! I'm very happy with my purchase - look how cute this is and how it complements my nightstand! The 3-way nightlight is adorable. Please note that the wire around the center is part of the decoration - it wasn't mentioned in the instructions and I could see someone unraveling it thinking it was part of the cord (I almost did:)). The shade was easy to snap on and it was well protected in the box. If I gave any points off it would be that you can see the wire rim if you are standing up looking at the lamp and the charging port is easily reachable for the person on the right side of the bed but the person on the left side will have to turn the lamp to get to the port (not a big deal but a detail to be aware of). Perfect lamp for our family room in the mountains. The pine cone detail in the middle is beautiful and shows up so well in front of the window. The lamp came slightly damaged. I was looking for two new Pinecone Lamps...since one of ours, had been knocked off the nightstand, a few times...and my husband thought it might be dangerous to use. I was concerned about the height of the lamps...but once I got them...and got used to a bigger lamp...I love them. I did add a little antique gold paint accent to the tips of the pinecone itself...to make it blend a little better with some wall accents. The lamp shade is so unique...I know it will be harder to clean...and so will the pinecone itself...but it looks great. The lamp looks basically as described although the neck of the fixture's bulb base is seen more under the shade than what the picture depicts. The resin antlers aren't bad for being "faux" and have more of a natural color.
