A lot of comments are correct that the wood looks a little fake. We stained it darker and think it looks fine. This is a great industrial chandelier!! I really love and appreciate the style and finish to add rustic finishes in our modern house. The only con is the black poles that attach the circle led light to the top where it secured to the ceiling are just black, not like the actual hanging part.
