Love this piece! Adds a nice look to our living room and I love that there is no visible tv in the room. Took us a few hours to install particularly to get the height of the tv just right, but all in all it wasn't that difficult to do. Did not come with a shelf inside for components, which we were disappointed about. We ended up using large velcro strips to fasten our Dish receiver inside and it worked just fine with the remote. Our TV cabinet arrived quickly and was packaged very securely. It comes in two boxes and it is very heavy, so you might need two people to carry it in. The instructions were good and all the pieces were there, which isn't always the case, so very happy with that. It is not an easy assembly, but there are moving parts and a lot of smaller pieces, so that's not a surprise. At one point we needed two people to stabilize a section while tightening some screws, but for the most part, it's a one person job taking maybe 3-4 hours if you're not experienced. The look is nice. We got the light oak color and it's a little lighter than I expected, but looks good. The most important part is that it works perfectly. We haven't installed the TV yet, but the remote works and it slides up and down effortlessly. The only slight minus is that the remote has no instructions or directions. It's a nice cabinet and heavy, but not solid oak as we had thought. It's an oak veneer and not all oak veneer in some spots so if you get unfinished staining doesn't work very well, so we had to paint ours. This motorized TV lift is designed to keep your TV hidden and out of sight while not in use. It is designed to mount to the inside of a custom cabinet of your choice and by using the convenient hand held remote can be raised or lowered with the touch of a button. The top of the mount rises up to 64.8" and sits at a minimum of 38" when in the lowered position. When installing, make sure the top of the TV sits below the two rollers on top and has enough bottom clearance from the floor while in the lowered position. The mounting bracket can be mounted in 5 different positions to be able to fit multiple TV brands and sizes.

With the exception of one assembly step, this was a straightforward one strong person unpacking and assembly. At one point they want you to have the base stood up on its side so that the pillars can be slid through the holes in the bale. I made a support of the shipping boxes to support the then horizontal heavy pillars parallel to the floor while I attached them. ALSO: do the later steps that require you to work at the bottom while the stand is already on its side. The motor runs smoothly but I haven't attached tho 100" screen to it yet—I don't expect that will be a problem.
