I had a few problems installing. The swing out arm would get stuck while swinging out. I had to add a slat of wood where the mounting bracket attached to the cabinet. I didn’t expect to feel this strongly about a trash can, and yet here we are. The Rev-A-Shelf Single Gray 32 Qt. Maple Pullout Waste Container is basically the overachiever of my awkward pantry cabinet—the one space in my house that seemed determined to reject every normal-sized solution I threw at it. This piece definitely took more time and problem-solving to build than expected, a little over three hours total. The finished product looks really nice, and the color is beautiful. I especially love having both extra storage and a hidden trash can cabinet, which makes the space feel much cleaner and more organized. The assembly process was a bit more involved than I anticipated and required some patience and careful attention to detail. A few areas needed some adjusting during setup, particularly around the cabinet doors, to get everything aligned and opening smoothly. Once everything was properly positioned though, the final result looked great and felt sturdy. One thing to keep in mind is that this is not a quick or beginner-level assembly, so taking your time during the build will definitely help. This is a beautiful piece. It did take two people to put together, but it was pretty straightforward. The space on top provides us with extra room to display items, and the drawers are perfect for storing trash bags, etc. The only reason for the four stars versus five is that we purchased this item to use in our kitchen as a trash can, as described, and it came with cloth -like storage baskets. The shelves are incredibly solid, with no warping or misfitting. I was amazed by how precisely all the materials and pieces fit together. Installation: The instructions are clear and comprehensive, and there were no missing parts. This made the installation quick and easy. Aesthetics: Once the shelves were assembled, I was taken aback by how professional and solid they looked and felt. They’re just solid! Would I buy again? Absolutely! These were the lowest-priced shelves I found so I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised.
