I needed a "rug" instead of a bathroom type of rug to step out on after showering. We have a "shower room" with a large walk-in. I dislike bathroom rugs and prefer using a more elevated look than the typical sort and this was not only "water resistant", but nonskid, thin, and colorful. Maybe too colorful as it's a bright golden instead of muted. That said, it works perfectly, but I'm alone in my opinion as the decorator. Everyone will have their own take, but I like it, it's holding up (did need a few strips of carpet tape on the tile just to be certain it held tightly), and as I don't see the need for a plush piece to briefly step on, I'm pleased.
