I'm a 6'1" 240lb man (athletic), and it isn't remotely "too small" as some have said, so adjust your expectations for your body type. The cushion is firm, but comfortable in my opinion. These are great chairs. I have two in my office for meetings, and everyone has commented that they are comfortable and attractive. Since they don't have arms, the small meeting table doesn't look like it has a forest of furniture.
