I did the set up solo. After organizing all of the parts and laying everything out on the floor, the assembly took about an hour. Once assembled, it feels very solid and level after a shake test. The finish of the wood is accurate based on the photo - warm, red undertones. I liked that the wheels are adjustable to even out gaps around the doors. I added small, flat silicone dots to the ends of the doors so that they don’t collide with the frame when being closed and to protect the finish over time. Overall, I would buy this console again.. While this media cabinet is as mid-century as you can get, be wary of purchasing it for a larger home with high ceilings. This sits much lower than expected (user error from not checking dimensions). Regardless, it’s a beautiful piece that works perfectly in a side/guest room. Assembly was a bit difficult due to the sheer number of screws involved.
