I recently purchased the Donati 9-Drawer Dresser and wanted to share my experience for anyone considering it. First, be prepared—this is definitely a project if you’re assembling it on your own. I started putting it together around 7 PM, worked until about 2 AM, then picked it back up the next day around 1 PM and finished around 6 PM. It’s time-consuming and can feel a bit challenging at times, but I actually enjoyed the process and found it rewarding to see it come together. There were a few minor issues with some of the wood panels having small chips, but nothing too noticeable once everything was assembled. Overall, the dresser is very sturdy and feels well-made. The finished look is absolutely beautiful and makes the effort worth it. If you’re patient and don’t mind spending the time assembling it, I would definitely recommend it. I’m using it in my craft room for my small bottles of acrylic paints, paintbrushes, and other art supplies. I’m 67 years old and put it together myself, but not without challenges. First of all the side pieces are very heavy once the drawer glides are attached, but they are also stout. The cog-wheel designed fasteners help keep the pieces held together so it’s not necessary to have an extra pair of hands, but I recommend it.
