Even though I had the measurements - sometimes it is hard to visual what the size will be - it is not as deep (front to back) as I was hoping - the length and height are great. I want to use it to store quilts - like a cedar chest. It won't hold many at all. I do like the look of it. The legs were easy to put on (although the diagram was incorrect on the order of the locking washer and regular washer). The trunk is as it looks. Hinges seem strong but even if they weren't, the wood is so light that it wouldn't hurt fingers. If you are looking for a solid piece of furniture, this isn't it. Great cabinets for the price. I changed the knobs to go with my decor. The reason for a four start vs five star is because when I first purchased the cabinets the description said solid wood. Then after item shipped I looked at the item again because I was excited and the description had changed. It no longer said solid wood and a review popped up that hadnt been there saying it wasnt solid wood as they had expected so the description had been updated. I ended up keeping it because I needed something right away. Ive had them for some time now and still like it.
