I waited awhile few weeks to write this review. First I loved the look of the navy blue chairs. They were very well packaged. Nothing damaged. Assembly was a breeze. The back cushion is oh so plump and lets you sink in a little bit. Not too much. Perfect amount. The seat cushion is not as plush. I’m hoping it gets a bit less firm over time. It’s by no means hard. You sink in, but I wish it felt more like the back cushion. That would have been so much better. The cushions are zippered so I may add more filling later. The fabric is great, feels like it will last awhile. It’s not thin, it’s thick. Like a denim feel. As you can see the back of the chair is angled, it’s like a permanent reclining position with very deep seating. And that’s why I ordered it. But it’s not the best sitting position unless you have an ottoman. I’m trying to find the ottoman that they used to sell with this chair, but until then I’m adding a pillow behind my head to support my neck and keep it more upright. Otherwise it’s just not as comfortable as I feel it should be. It will be better after I add the ottoman. Overall it’s a great sturdy chair. Very happy with this purchase. The chair was delivered by FedEx in a large rectangular box and was well packed while keeping the packaging footprint as reasonable as possible. Assembly could not have been easier. It mainly involved attaching the arms to the base, connecting the back cushion, and installing the legs. I was a little concerned before ordering because most of the reviews were incentivized. However, those concerns disappeared once I finished assembling the chair and saw the final result. My wife was very happy with her new reading chair in the living room. Comfort was my other concern, but I found the chair very comfortable even at 6'3". As expected for someone over 6 feet tall, my legs hang slightly over the edge if I stretch them straight out. My wife is 5'4" and fits very comfortably within the chair’s footprint, whether it is reclined or upright. When the chair is reclined, there is a small crevice that becomes visible, but it can easily be covered with a pillow. My only real complaint, which I knew before ordering, is the odd choice of putting wheels on the front legs. I do not see much practical purpose for them. They do not affect the functionality for us since the chair is on carpet, but I do not like the look of them. My wife does not seem to care, and they could always be replaced with two 6-inch furniture legs purchased from a major online retailer. Overall, this is an extremely good value. I wanted to leave a review to help others who may be looking at all the positive incentivized reviews and wondering whether the chair is actually as good as it appears. These chairs are perfect for what I need them for. I was surprising my husband with a home office and the color and size of these work great. They are a little stiff right now but I can tell the more they are used the softer they will feel. The color was perfect and exactly like the picture. I’m 5’11 and he is six foot and both of us have sat in them just fine. These are not the type of chair you will be falling asleep in by any means, but as an accent office chair, they are perfect.
