Take it back a few decades with this industrial inspired desk. The visible piping framework is finished with an antique black to create an authentic throwback atmosphere.

Two holes were stripped and screws would not thread in. Very poor instructions. Table frame is greyish, not black. Top is not wood, but I knew this. It’s actually quite nice. Love this desk! One of the gears does not line up super square, and there was plenty of casting sand attached to the legs. One small ding in the front of the desk top, but not a big deal to me. Others have commented that the desk does not move up & down readily. It makes me wonder if they put any grease on the worm gear. Be generous with the grease. Desk works great! I did not tighten the wood handle super tight, so it rotates in my hand when I lower the desk. I also skip it when raising the desk top. Instead I use the wheel, like on a large valve or a ships hatch. Not as convenient as mashing a button, but it goes with the style. Plenty of room for double 24” montiors. The desk is not fully assembled as advertised. It ships in 3 boxes. The “X” design is also not on both sides of the side pieces as pictured on the website. I received a silver trimmed top with black side pieces. I ordered black. Customer service offered me a new tip which wouldn’t ship until the end of December (it’s October). I felt like customer service didn’t care about my complaint being that I spent 600 on something that’s falsely advertised and then got something mismatched to boot. Steer clear of this one.. Crystal.
