Understated elegance, nuetral enough to blend with almost any decor, but unique to get notice, I have received a lot of compliments. Purchased matching end table and 2 round endtables with wooden tops. Probably will buy the console as well. Expensive to me, but worth it I think, as I plan to keep all for a very long time. A little color was rubbed off of a small part of the metal frame from the packing rubbing it at one spot, but fixed it in less than a minute with an acrylic gold paint pen, you would never be able to detect it now. This table AMAZES me! I bought it for myself prior to the completion of our home. Unfortunately. the tabletop color clashed with my floor color so I gave it to my son. It looks great in their house! I once went to their home and thought it was ruined because there was a huge spot on it where something had spilled and dried. There was no doubt in my mind that it was damaged. Just got it, and love it. Lovely polished natural stone creamy with brown flecks. When you run your hand over it there are few places where you can feel a real stone texture. Love that the feet are adjustable! The delivery team helped even the feet out for me so it didn't wobble. My first Wayfair purchase and was very happy with the communication and the delivery. This is natural stone, which upon reading the sticky label attached to the base, I discovered has no coating and needs special care for cleaning and is, apparently, easily stained. Label had one sentence about recommended to clean with either ammonia and water or mineral spirits (which I would pass on since it will stink up my house for eternity). I used a damp soft cloth.
