I must say that it was worth the trouble, though the stickers pulled the finish off in some places and a dowel had the glue set while it was too high and it punched through the side. It is very well made, the inner cloth liner fits snugly over thr edge and the band of bamboo holds it on so nicely. You dont even see the cloth liner when the lid is closed. I really like the lid lifting up and it stays up. It is not flimsy at all. It was very easy to put together. I would say 5 minutes is all it took. Items arrived quickly and in good shipping condition. Though, the items themselves were shrink wrapped in plastic, they were shipped in only a plastic bag, so I could see them getting easily scuffed or dirty in transit. This was not the case, fortunately. They are just the right size for my children's rooms.. they are not very large, but offer just enough space for a small load of laundry. They feel sturdy and have a nice and clean look to them. My only complaint is that it appears they are made to have a bag insert that would be tied into each corner, but it doesn't not come with a bag, which I found odd.
