I ordered 4 of the large book cases and 4 of the smaller ones same style to make my built in unit for my office. The shelves were very fast and easy to put together. I was able to modify the smaller shelves to stack them to complete the built in. These shelving units are beautiful. They far exceeded my expectations. The shelf units are constructed very well. You can tell there was a lot of thought put in to this product. I couldn’t have found a better shelf for the space I needed. We live in an old house that we are remodeling so needless to say our spaces are wonky. We have a space next to our safe and this shelf fits perfectly in width depth and height. My only complaint is that the backing was not aligned and I had to remove the tape that held it together to re-aligned it. It caused the piece to crack a little which is ok since this is hidden and for storage. Impressed with the hardware - all metal. And it comes with a magnetic screw driver! It's a beautiful unit. However, it arrived damaged. The manufacturer is going to address that issue. I also paid for assembly. Two pros were assigned and only one showed up. That pro didn't want to do the job alone, so assembly had to be rescheduled. Only one pro was assigned at the reschedule. It's a very heavy unit. In my opinion, two pros should have been assigned.
