I really like this wind chime. The jute rope it hangs from looks to be secure, but we’ll see how it holds up overtime in the elements. The dark brown wood contrasts with the cool blue and green capiz. Capiz is farmed in Indonesia and every bit is used. The piece is carefully sorted, dried, sliced, shaped, sanded and dyed. Strung together with strong, invisible, nylon cord, the thin, flat translucent pieces provide luminous color. In the 1500s, capiz was used as windowpane in-house; now it is used in all sorts of home decorations, including lamp shades and vases and (of course) wind chimes! Delivery was right on schedule and packaging in good condition. It was unclear in the product description whether there would be one or two sets of crystals included in the purchase. There were two pictures, one with a circular crystal and another with a heart shaped crystal. There wasn’t an option to pick one or the other on the website. You may want to clear that up. Also, the product was a little dirty when it was received, like it had been a display item or something out of the box for a while. We were able to clean it up and it works just fine for our needs..
