This is a nicely constructed bench. It was easy to put together and heavy enough to stay put on a mulched bed. The gentle curve on the top surface is smooth and comfortable too. Smooth-finished composite material looks like quality wood, but will hold up much better against the elements, without having to use paint or varnish. The color is long-lasting and won't fade or dull. They look like new, even after a few years of use! The backrest of our bench is not totally straight, a slightly tilted angle provides good support for your back.

Nice bench. I was able to put the bench together myself, but I deducted a star because it would have been easier if the pictures on the instructions were larger and clearer.
