This arrived very quickly and was packaged very securely so it arrived in perfect condition. It's much heavier than I expected, but that's a good thing since you don't want this tipping over. There was no assembly, so from opening the box to getting it going was quick and easy. So far, it works as expected. The remote has a lot of useful functions including turn off and on the lights at night to reduce the brightness for light sleepers. A few things to know beforehand. After running the conditioner for more than 4 hours our room didn't cool off because the heat coming out the back of the conditioner through the exhaust connection was too much heat, thus the conditioner couldn't cool the room at all.
