The design looks traditional and festive. There were a few small imperfections on some of the dishes—tiny bubbles and slight inconsistencies in the finish—which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. They aren’t major enough for me to return it, but they are noticeable up close. Very study stoneware plates and bowls. Simple and beautiful design that can be used for normal everyday use as well as dressed up for formal dining. The polished rims really look nice in person and dress up the dish set. Love the “lip” around the edge - allowing better management of the food on the plate from the edge.
