This gun safe is just what I needed. It's not so heavy that I can't scoot it around. We did screw it to the wall so it's nice a secure, no one can get to the screws without opening the safe. The instruction booklet could definitely be improved. It took us a bit to figure out where the battery goes and how to get the keypad off. Until we got that off, we did not know where the key goes because it is not illustrated in the booklet. However, once you get the keypad off the key hole is in the middle. The locking mechanism seems very sturdy. I love the touchpad, both my husband and I were able to program our fingerprints. It does not state how many you can have so I'm not sure on that. I am extremely disappointed with this 9.5 Cu. Ft. Large Safe. It is unbelievably heavy, and the lower compartment arrived completely locked with no keys provided, making it impossible to open. For a product meant to secure important items, this level of inconvenience and lack of quality control is unacceptable. I’ve been trying to get help from the company, but I am still waiting for a solution. Due to its weight, returning it is not even an option.
