My husband grew up sleeping on Mexican fur blankets #iykyk so getting him used to a proper fitted and top sheet was not easy. Hubby approves of this blanket he says its even softer than expected. My Maltese sleeps with me and even though he visits a groomer monthly I have found that his nails have picked the material in a couple of spots. This blanket never stated it was dog approved and tbh I expected this as with any waffle blanket . Will definitely purchase again when needed but will dry this blanket on a very low setting.!. Debra. I am obsessed with the beautiful Queen size electric blanket with dual controls — it is utterly and completely gorgeous! It’s a nice thickness (not ultra thin and cheap feeling), it is luxuriously SOFT on the faux fur side, and even the Sherpa side (which isn’t my personal favorite) is quite soft compared to some Sherpa’s. It is well-made with no loose threads or stitching, and I love the beautiful rich grey! I am sorry I can’t show photos right now with it literally on my bed, but it is heading toward Summer here in the Midwest, and so we literally just changed out our Winter bedding. The only reason I took “a part” of that 5th star off is price. If you shop around, you can find good brands with great deals at nearly half the price. That said, even without a sale, the price for this blanket isn’t horrible.
