I really like these fixtures, but wanted to add one word of caution. Because the decorative links are STEMS rather than chains, "adjusting the length" means using 1 or 2 stems. You are not given that much flexibility in the length. This was hard for us, because we found out that 1 stem made it too high and 2 stems made it too low. (We had a very creative electrician who came up with a solution using brass colored links from another fixture we had ordered. Otherwise, we would have had to return this fixture).. Yuko. I have been looking for a dining room light that felt right for my craftsman home for some time, without being the typical craftsman design. This light ticked all the boxes. It’s simplistic, rustic and has that hand crafted look. I feel the price is very good and the quality of construction is excellent. I’m so happy with this purchase. It was tricky to install, and I have to admit that I almost called an electrician because of the size of it.
