This is a beautiful desk and solid. Followed the directions page by page and had no issues. Took my time, had the football game on TV and poured myself a cocktail during the build. Depending on how fast you work depends on how much time it will take to assemble. Took me an evening and the next morning to complete but I took my time with no stress. Only minor issue is the drawers are a bit tight but they may smooth out with use. Love the desk and for the price you can’t beat it. A desk like this at a local store is about $1200. This is a good looking table but 4 stars because the top of the table is 2 pieces and the wood design doesn’t match (see pictures). The top 2 drawers do not have the side mount drawer slides instead they glide on metal side rails and they are slightly smaller than the space, you can move them left and right but they don’t come off the metal rail. I love this desk! I had been working on a small desk with no drawers for a few years and wanted an upgrade. This desk worked perfectly for my space and I love all the drawers. Also love the 2 outlets and USB ports right on top on the desk. Makes it easy to charge my stuff and plug in all my computer things. The assembly instructions were the best I have ever dealt with. Every piece was labeled and all the small screws, etc were in individually labeled bags. The instructions themselves were very good. I had no trouble putting it together myself (I am a 54 year old 5’ 3” woman). It did take me about 5 hours to assemble by myself. I probably should have split it up over 2 days, but nothing was hard.
