While it's a great sofa bed for a smaller space (mine rests at the foot of my bed in a studio apartment), its material is not very supportive in either form, folded or unfolded. In fact, when it's unfolded, it's hard not to find yourself sitting/laying on some uncomfortable connecting piece at the bottom.
