First problem was that a couple of the pieces were broken upon arrival. However, customer service was super responsive and shipped us new parts within a week. Next, the instructions are very confusing, especially if you wish to assemble this table with the long side facing left. However, after all is said and done, the table looks great and the quality is superb once all of the pieces are put together correctly. Setup was done by 2 people at most times, as mentioned, there were points of confusion. When the pieces were found to be broken, we couldnt resume until the pieces were shipped to us, which had been quick. After having this nook for a month, it works really well - we use it everyday for breakfast, and dinner. The cushions are comfy enough for eating, and the bench is a nice addition for when there is not enough room on the main bench. You can fit about 4-5 people with this nook, depending on how big people are. One thing that I wish was a bit better was the sturdiness of the table, as it can move if you push it a tiny bit. Absolutely love it. So much nicer than I was expecting. Heavy duty, does not look or feel cheap. Took a couple hours to put together, but I completely glossed over the part of the instructions when it said to only screw some of the screws in by 80%. Make sure to follow that part - you need to be able to have a little give in order to get some of the other pieces into place correctly. Once you pass that step, then it tells you to go back and screw them to 100%. That probably would’ve saved me about half an hour, but that’s user error, lol. I would 100% recommend.. Dina. Arrived damaged on one corner and a small dent thru the veneer on the table top. Wayfair said the manufacturer would reach out in two business days but its so heavy I dont want to handle a return. I think Ill put a coat of lacquer on it to keep my kids from scratching it. For the price this is an excellent solid table. Fits great in my small space and two wider chairs still fit side by side on the length. Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Have looked at this table for months and had some concerns about stability after reading reviews. Finally decided to buy it and do not regret it. There is an odor that a dissipates. It emanates from the box more but does linger on the wood. The stability issue resolved one the legs were tightened appropriately. The table is beautiful and fits the space perfectly. The exact look we were going for. Love it is from reclaimed wood. We will be applying a satin sealer since the wood is not sealed. When wiping the wood down, the colors really popped! The reviews are SO mixed on this item. I’ll break it down the best I can. Quality 1010 it’s solid wood and heavy. Packaging 1010, assembly 1010… just put the legs on. Appearance I’ll be honest I don’t LOVE the finish, it looks white and chalky over rustic, the wood is kind of pinky. The finish cheapens the look of the table. The underside is almost prettier to me. But it has grown on me, it will look great with white upholstered chairs. I am still happy with it. But not in love with it. I did size up because the reviews said the small table looked flimsy next to the chunky legs. Mine is 84 inches long. The shape of the table is timeless and stunning.
