We couldn’t figure out the color online but that’s because color changes with the lighting throughout the day. It appears to be hand blown glass so there is no seams but there are slight imperfections in the glass (bubbles). The light bulb is slightly crooked from the screw that pinches the wire in place and it’s impossible to get the cord perfect straight. The product itself is fine, however the pictures don’t really show what it’s actually like. Make sure you read the color description. The picture makes the black dome piece look more matte and smooth, however the gloss black one is VERY glossy and had some bubbles/imperfections around it. I am not sure it’s worth the price, however I really like the braided style of the cord so I may try to reorder in the actual matte color and see if it looks better.
