First, these doors are nice and solid. A little on the heavy side, so I am glad I wasnt installing these on my own. They are primed to a gloss so have to be sanded before painting, which is a little annoying, but it is what it is. They are not pre-hung, so you will not get any frame panels with them and as a result, the hinges dont sit recessed. When I read no hardware, I understood no hinges, handles, etc. which I was fine with as I had my own, but no frames would have been an issue if I didnt have the ones from the doors that didnt show up from the previous order that was cancelled (different vendor). They were delivered super quick which I appreciated and packed well. They did have some cosmetic issues that were from the factory (not FedEx), but not enough for me to go through the hassle to send them back. It was like each door had at least one nick in it! So many issues with this vendor! When I ordered these doors, it said there were only a few left, which was fine as I only needed to order 2. They were exactly what I was looking for and at a great price. I received the frames first (which I was told would come separately) and the quality looked good so I was excited for the doors. Then it was a week of mixed messages about when the doors would come. I spoke with Wayfair support (excellent service,which is why this gets 2 stars!) and they could not get a clear answer so they put in a reorder for me. A week later I start getting the same run around again until they eventually cancelled. This vendor seemingly has great doors but their service is bad! These turned out beautifully but I severely underestimated the amount of time it would take to get them to this point. I struggled to get these to stain as dark as I wanted. I tried just staining them at first and then had to go back and sand them down to get them to stain darker. Also must have been my floor not being level but had to sand a bunch off of the bottom to get them to slide without hitting the ground. A lot of work but look really good. Anonymous. Sun Mar 15 2026
