Daughter loves her bed! It seems pretty sturdy. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side. The product is amazing, the waiting for it to arrive was awful. It took about 12 hours to put it together (mostly by myself – I'd say the 3-person recommendation is actually accurate to complete it in a reasonable timeframe). It holds up well. The instructions leave a few pieces out which led to my wife putting a few pieces together backwards, so that took time to undo. But overall, it was worth it. My son is 2.5 and he will be able to use this for years to come. He absolutely loves going up the ladder and down the slide. It looks exactly as pictured. The slide has some speed to it, so we put pillows on the railing while he gets used to it. He's obsessed with basketball, and I can tell the hoop will hold up as well. My three kiddos are super excited about their new bunkbed! It took my husband, son, and I three hours to put it together but the pictures in the directions were straight forward. We did have to take two parts apart and reassemble them as I missed the direction they had to be facing in order to attach pieces in later steps. I put a soft bath math with a grippy bottom at the foot of the ladder and tucked it under the mattresses on either side to prevent direct falls onto the lower bedframes. The storage space on the top bunk is great for storing a good amount of toys and stuffed animals; the storage drawers between the beds on the bottom are nice for smaller items.
