All well-loved bean bags go flat with use, but not to worry! You can order our handy single-pack bean refill to bring your excellent Big Joe back to life whenever necessary. Our virgin polystyrene beans are 100% recyclable. Each bag contains 100 liters of rejuvenating beans. The number of beans you need will depend on the size of your chair and how flat it is: small chairs may need 1-2 bags, while giant chairs may require more. For child safety and durability reasons, all big Joe bean-filled chairs have two zippers with their pulls intentionally removed before shipment. To open your big Joe, place a paperclip into the first zipper head, pull to open, and then repeat on the second zipper. Detailed instructions can be found on the warning label attached to your Big Joe. And, you can use our refill packs for other reasons: packing material, arts and crafts, you name it!

Turned out I did not need these and unfortunately they were thrown over the fence where the dogs ripped open the box. What a nightmare for my daughter! I got these for our basement for my toddler’s playroom and they are great. The green color is very rich and they look more expensive and put together than a regular bean bag chair. Since they aren’t filled with beads, it’ll take some time for them to break in, but they are still comfortable! This took about 3 hours to set up with two adults and a kid grabbing parts. Easier if you have a drill with a screw head and a hex head. If you follow the directions slowly and make sure you align parts as you go perfect it turns out great. The only hard part was getting the final back covers on was on the carpet and would have been easier. The balls are pretty lightweight and they will fly around if the kids roll them too hard.
