We really like this waterproof mattress pad. We have a dog who sometimes has small accidents during the night. This mattress pad showed up shrink packaged so it does expand some when you open up the packaging. I spread the pad out to air it out for about a day before running it through our washing machine’s gentle cycle and dried it on low heat as per the instruction’s. I replaced our current mattress pad with this new one which has elastic all the way around to keep it secure. I immediately noticed it had more loft than the former pad and it felt very smooth and cool to the touch. After having slept on the mattress pad now for several weeks my wife and I can agree it definitely makes our bed more comfortable and a cooler rest at night for her especially. It’s also waterproof.
